Apple does not provide any tool for downgrading your OS X, you will need to do a clean installation in order to downgrade to any previous version. You may need to upgrade your memory from 2 GB to 4 GB if you are planning to upgrade to OS X El Capitan. Also do not depend on the minimum hardware requirement because they are just a benchmark.
